Situated in an ample valley in the splendid Tuscan countryside, some 30 km. northeast of Florence, the Mugello circuit is modern and equipped with most prestigious infrastructures. Owned by Ferrari since 1988, the 5,245-metre track has been completely renovated in order to meet racing needs. Famous on account of the track’s challenges, its safety and the beauty of the surrounding area, Mugello is loved by all and at the same time one of the most challenging circuits indeed for both racers and technicians. The track alternates slow and fast curves, ups and downs – elements well liked by bikers and spectators alike. This circuit hosted its first Grand Prix in 1976 and, following the overall renovation in 1991, offers one of the not-to-be-missed appointments in the world racing agenda.
